Look good in the gym (and out) with this hot new colorway of the Nike Metcon 7.
More rigid and durable than earlier versions, the Nike Metcon 7 is the gold standard for weight training. This shoe is made for athletes who want to transition smoothly from cross-training, HIIT workouts, and Bootcamp to weightlifting and running during the same workout.

Here’s some of the styles we are going to look at:
Nike Metcon 7 Women’s – Overview
The new Metcon 7 is 9% more stable than its predecessor because it has a unique heel stabilizing plate that helps keep you grounded. It uses React foam, giving you the right amount of cushion so you can run, sprint, and lift heavy with its responsiveness. Nike React foam makes a relaxing, cushioned base that feels lightweight and flexible when you kick it into high gear for cardio and sprints.

The tabs smartly and snugly lock down your laces so you can limit distractions, while the updated rubber arch support and rubber tread add more traction and grip to your every move. Metcon 7 also has added flexibility with its built-in grooves on the outsole, and a lightweight mesh with textured overlays in high-wear areas helps keep your foot cool without sacrificing durability.

The Flywire cables integrate with the laces to help secure your midfoot, and the handstand clip at the heel decreases drag during wall exercises. Metcon added new colorways to its wide range of colors and now comes in Black/Green Strike/Pink Glaze/White for women.

Nike Metcon 7 Women’s – In Summary
That’s our close-up look at Nike Metcon 7 Women’s.
An excellent shoe for lifting, the Nike Metcon 7 uses React foam, an exceptional foam cushioning innovation, and Nike’s most responsive foam yet. It is 11% softer and delivers 13% more energy return than their previous cushioning, and is also more durable and more lightweight.
Want more cushion? Check out the Nike React Metcon Turbo – it’s also excellent for CrossFit.
For long-distance running, we recommend a dedicated running shoe – like the UA HOVR Machina 2 – or something similar.
